DriverX Driver Support


The following zip file contains the latest build of the DriverX legacy NT driver (driverx.sys). The new driver includes a couple changes to better support XP.

If you are having problems with driverx.sys on an XP system, unzip driverx.sys and copy it into your Windows\System32\Drivers directory; then reboot. You may want to back up your current driverx.sys file first. If you still have troubles with the new build, please send us an email to "support at tetradyne dot com" and we will try to provide further assistance.

DriverX is typically used to communicate with non-standard hardware devices: in-circuit emulators, custom I/O cards, motion controllers, etc. If you don't know what application is using DriverX, let us know the type and manufacturer of any such non-standard hardware on your system.

If you believe that no application on your system is currently using the DriverX driver, then the Uninstall.exe program in the following zip file can be executed to uninstall driverx.sys:
